I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing façade contractor that is looking to strengthen its design team with the appointment of a Design Manager.
The business delivers façade packages valued between £1m-£10m across both new build and re-cladding projects, working with leading main contractors throughout London.

The Role
  • Managing façade design from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Coordinating architects, consultants, structural engineers and specialist suppliers.
  • Reviewing drawings and technical submissions.
  • Managing RFIs, design changes and approvals.
  • Ensuring designs comply with Building Regulations and project specifications.
  • Supporting project delivery teams throughout construction.

Requirements
  • Previous experience with a specialist façade or cladding contractor.
  • Good understanding of curtain walling, rainscreen cladding and façade systems.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
  • Strong technical and coordination skills.
  • AutoCAD or Revit knowledge would be advantageous.
