Design Manager - Facades

I’m currently working with a growing façade contractor who is looking to appoint a Design Manager to strengthen their technical team.

This is a great opportunity to join a business delivering a range of façade packages, where you’ll play a key role in managing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery.

The Role:

• Managing façade design from concept through to construction
• Coordinating with architects, consultants, and internal teams
• Overseeing design programmes and ensuring deadlines are met
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
• Managing external design consultants and subcontract designers
• Supporting site teams with technical queries during delivery

What I’m Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager within the façade/cladding sector
• Strong technical understanding of façade systems
• Experience managing the full design lifecycle
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively
• Strong communication and organisational skills

What’s On Offer:

• £60,000 – £75,000 salary depending on experience
