The Role

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and subject specialism.

The department delivers a broad, ambitious curriculum that encourages students to become creative designers, confident makers and resilient problem-solvers. You'll have the freedom to bring your own ideas into the classroom while working alongside a collaborative team committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

Specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics or other Design Technology disciplines are all welcomed.

The Successful Design Technology Teacher Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2026.

• Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of students.
