TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Tamworth, who are looking for a DT Teacher to join their team. This Ofsted Good rated school provides a positive learning environment where staff are supported to deliver high-quality education and encourage students to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated DT Teacher on a long-term supply basis to cover a maternity leave from September 2026. The successful DT Teacher will be responsible for teaching Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with experience teaching Food Technology within DT being highly desirable.

The successful DT Teacher will have:
· QTS with a DT specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
· Experience teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
· Experience teaching Food Technology within DT is desirable
· Strong classroom management skills
· Excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting student progress
