Desk Based Account Manager

Pasquill, part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, is looking for a Desk Based Account Manager to join the team in Redhill. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role at the heart of our sales operation, working closely with Design Office Managers and our external Business Development team to convert quotations into orders and keep customers coming back.

You'll be the driving force behind proactive outbound calling, spotting opportunities in existing accounts, chasing down lapsed customers, and building the kind of relationships that turn a one-off quote into a long-term account.

What we're looking for:

• Previous sales experience in a similar role
• Strong all-round sales skills and a solid grasp of the sales cycle
• Excellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skills
• Good commercial understanding, with confidence around margin and profit
• Self-motivated, results driven and comfortable managing your own priorities
• Experience of account management

What you'll be doing:

• Calling existing, low-spending and lapsed accounts to follow up on quotations and secure new opportunities
• Identifying new potential customers and working with the external sales team to bring them on board
• Improving quotation conversion in line with the commercial sales plan
• Working closely with Design Office Managers and Business Development Managers to keep the customer experience seamless
• Taking ownership of customer issues and resolving complaints promptly
• Carrying out sales and margin analysis, agreeing key actions with your Design Office Manager
• Building multi-level relationships within your customer base
• Reporting on activity, sales and competitor insight
