DevOps Engineer - GCP

- Strong Software Engineering background with hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications, preferably Java and Node.js based.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, with strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, GCP services, and platform engineering best practices.
- Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and Git.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) in production environments.
- Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, automated testing, Agile delivery, and DevOps principles.
- Experience configuring and supporting monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions such as Dynatrace.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools including JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, and Bruno.
- Proven track record of driving automation initiatives to improve resilience, increase deployment frequency, and reduce operational overhead.
- Strong production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working effectively across engineering, platform, architecture, and product teams.
- Passion for building a strong engineering culture and promoting DevOps best practices across delivery teams.
