Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently and accurately.
- Undertake servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard.
- Complete repairs in line with manufacturer repair methods, times, and company procedures.
- Support other technicians with complex fault finding and technical guidance when required.
- Accurately complete diagnostic reports, vehicle health checks, and repair documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Liaise with Service Advisors and the Workshop Controller to provide accurate technical information and repair updates.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or experienced Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or similar workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and fault-finding skills.
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle systems.
- Excellent technical knowledge with a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
