Our client in Romford, Greater London, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their reputable dealership. Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Deliver first-time fix excellence and ensure quality customer service
  • Perform vehicle video health checks to identify issues and encourage sell-up opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with workshop supervision regarding work progress
  • Assist colleagues with technical support and coaching
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete MOTs adhering to DVSA standards (if applicable)
  • Support development of your skills, including electric vehicle diagnostics
  • Ensure safety and organisational standards are maintained at all times
Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety standards adherence
  • Organisational skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Flexibility to work one in eight Saturdays, with paid overtime
