- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday either 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm, with an hour lunch; 1 in 3/4 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm, paid as overtime
- Leading diagnostics and fault-finding across a diverse range of vehicles
- Conducting high-level repairs and technical work to manufacturer standards
- Collaborating with the Workshop Controller to maintain workshop efficiency and productivity
- Completing accurate and thorough job cards and reports
- Supporting quality control and upholding workshop standards as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work opportunities
- Mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the service department
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Vehicle Technician, with exposure to complex diagnostics and servicing
- Strong electrical and mechanical system knowledge
- Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to share technical knowledge
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, franchise-approved environment
- Motivation to meet and exceed team targets
- An active MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential
