Geologix is seeking an adaptable, organised and energetic individual to join its Norwich team to strengthen and maintain the security, quality and reliability of the company’s digital systems and processes.
This new role within Geologix will be tasked with ensuring the organisation operates with clear standards, disciplined processes and secure digital practices, supporting both operational efficiency and organisational resilience.
Strong candidates will show high motivation and drive to achieve, be diligent in their work but adaptable in their responsibilities. Training on our systems and current processes is provided, but experience with cloud infrastructure, information governance and procedural compliance is preferred.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's technology stack, cloud platforms and operational workflows, using that knowledge to continually improve the quality, security and resilience of our digital environment.
- Work closely with Business and Development teams to support system configuration, testing and improvement activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of the company’s information security practices, ensuring they align with internal systems and products.
- Promote awareness of the company’s security posture across staff and customers through clear communication, documentation and participation in meetings.
- Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring they remain accurate, relevant and effective.
- Be responsible for information security event monitoring, reporting and escalation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, maintaining risk registers, corrective action logs and compliance records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process refinement and staff awareness of quality and security standards.
This fast-paced hybrid role will provide variation and significance on a daily basis. Supporting customer deployments and internal R&D initiatives simultaneously will require a dedicated and quick-thinking candidate.

Technical Background and Experience
Candidates should have practical experience or a strong technical foundation in one or more of the following areas:
- Cloud platforms and hosted services, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or equivalent environments.
- IT infrastructure, systems administration or technical support.
- Identity and access management, user permissions and secure account administration.
- Information security principles, including system access, data handling, monitoring and incident escalation.
- Configuration, testing, troubleshooting and documentation of digital systems.
- Practical experience using modern AI tools to deliver reliable business outcomes in an explainable and responsible manner, with an understanding of their limitations and ethical use.
- Experience of working within structured governance frameworks or management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001 or equivalent quality, security or operational standards.

Hours and Environment
Office hours with scope for remote working, Monday to Friday with rotational out of hours support cover. Modern office space with close amenities, car parking and nearby public transport.
