Job
As a Digital Content Executive, you will support the delivery of website, content and commercial activity across the business. This is a varied role that combines digital content creation with website updates, video production, content management and exposure to sales operations.
You will work closely with the wider team to keep digital content accurate, engaging and up to date, while also gaining an understanding of how products, customers and orders move through a global manufacturing business.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Updating and maintaining the company WordPress website, including product pages, content and approved digital assets
- Supporting agreed SEO improvements to help customers find the right products and information online
- Creating, editing and managing video and photography content, including product demonstrations, customer case studies and marketing materials
- Organising content workflows, from filming and editing through to storage and publishing
- Helping to improve the consistency and quality of digital assets across the business
- Spending time on the sales desk to support customer enquiries, quotations and order processing
- Working across website, content and commercial tasks to keep day-to-day activity moving smoothly
The Digital Content Executive will report into the relevant manager within the business and will work with colleagues across marketing, sales and operations.
Requirements
This would be an ideal role for someone who has been a marketing assistant, digital marketing assistant, content creator or early-career marketer in a manufacturing, product-led, agency or commercial environment.
You do not need to know everything already, but you will need to be organised, proactive and comfortable learning through practical work.
- Experience using WordPress or a similar website platform
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital content best practice
- Experience creating or editing video, photography or other digital content
- Confidence working with web pages, imagery, video files and written content
- Strong organisation skills and good attention to detail
- A practical approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams
- Ability to manage your own workload and keep projects moving
