An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Building Surveyor to join one of the UK's fastest growing property consultancies in the role of Director.

This is an opportunity to help shape and grow a thriving Building Surveying team, influence the direction of a successful regional business, and play a key role in its continued expansion across the North West and beyond.

The Opportunity

Joining an established Manchester team of Building Surveyors, you'll sit within the leadership team and help to drive the next phase of growth. With a strong pipeline of work there's a genuine opportunity to make your mark whilst enjoying the backing of a highly respected consultancy.

This role offers the perfect blend of leadership, client engagement, and project delivery.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and delivering a diverse range of building surveying commissions across both public and private sectors.
• Developing and mentoring the next generation of surveyors.
• Building and strengthening client relationships whilst identifying new business opportunities.
• Supporting the continued growth and success of the Manchester office.
• Working collaboratively with architects, project managers, valuers and other specialist teams.

Projects You'll Be Involved In

No two days are the same. You'll work across an exciting and varied portfolio including:

• Education and local authority projects
• Commercial office refurbishments
• Retail and shopping centre schemes
• Technical Due Diligence
• Dilapidations
• Contract Administration
• Insurance reinstatement works
• High rise residential projects

About You

We're looking for someone who can inspire others whilst remaining technically strong.

You'll ideally have:

• MRICS Chartered status
• Strong client facing Building Surveying experience
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• A passion for developing teams and growing client relationships
• A commercial mindset and ambition to help drive a successful business
