Your new role

This is far more than a traditional accountancy position. Working closely with business owners and senior decision-makers, you will act as a trusted adviser, helping clients navigate a wide range of commercial, financial and strategic issues.Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising owner-managed businesses on accounting, financial reporting and business matters.
• Building and developing long-term client relationships.
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes.
• Delivering commercially focused advice and practical solutions.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.
• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.

You will also gain exposure to a broad range of complex client situations, providing the opportunity to expand your expertise beyond traditional accounting disciplines.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3-4 years' post-qualified experience.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Good knowledge of personal taxation.
• Experience advising owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A commercial mindset with a practical, solution-focused approach.
• Ambition to develop into a senior leadership position.
