Director Frontier AI (Security)

Working with a global financial services organisation who are looking for a highly specialised Frontier AI Security contractor to help deliver a high-profile project.

Location - London
Hybrid - 3 days / week in office
Duration - Initially 6 months
Rate - £900-£1000 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Skills and Experience Required

• Very senior, hands-on technical specialist
• Deep security engineering; hands-on frontier LLM work (evals, agentic loops, failure modes); shipped production systems; product instinct; senior leadership.

Core Competencies:

• Strong AI, cybersecurity, and software engineering experience.
• Experience with LLMs and frontier AI models rather than traditional machine learning alone.
• Deep technical expertise and ability to actively contribute to engineering work.
• Exploit development/offensive security experience.
• Experience helping organisations strengthen cybersecurity defences.
• Startup/founder backgrounds are welcomed; industry background is flexible.
