Director of Innovation

Our client, a rapidly growing organisation, urgently require an experienced Director of Innovation and Systems Architecture to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Strong background within Enterprise or Technical Architect
• Proven track record of winning £multi-million contracts (supporting Bids and Pre Sales), within Defence & Government sectors
• Background gained within a consultancy organisation
• SC Cleared as a minimum, must be happy to obtain DV Clearance

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for translating technology opportunities into solutions for clients
• Lead early lifecycle/pre-sales engagements, architecting the high level technical strategies that win bids
• Lead the technical architecture for major tenders
• Partner with the sales team to identify win strategy
• Own technical narratives of bids, from executive summary to deep dive methodology chapters
• Oversee the creation of proof of concepts or technical demos
• Work with package teams to package technical research and custom hardware/software developments into repeatable service offerings
• Prioritise innovation, establishing scalable pipelines that successfully bridge the gap between experimental engineering and delivered programs
