Director of Operations - Construction Residential refurb

We’re looking to hire a very senior Director of Operations who can take full responsibility for the operational side of the business and remove that burden from the leadership team.

This person would be accountable for ensuring all projects and programmes are kept on track across every site, with clear ownership of timelines, deliverables, coordination, and execution.

A key part of the role is making sure every site has all the information it needs to operate and deliver properly including RFIs, drawings, instructions, programme updates, decisions, and any other critical project information. They need to ensure nothing is missed, delayed, or left unclear, and that issues are followed through to resolution.

They would also oversee site coordination, monitor progress against programme, identify risks and delays early, hold teams accountable, and make sure actions are completed without the leadership team needing to manage the detail.

We need someone very senior, hands-on, organised, decisive, and comfortable taking complete ownership of delivery across multiple sites. This is not a traditional PM role, we need someone who can effectively run the operational and delivery side of the business.
