Role: Dispatch Operative

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00AM to 19:00PM

Salary: £13.00 an hour, weekly pay 

Immediate Start Available - Temporary to Permanent opportunity 

OA are currently working with a well established client based in Milton Keynes, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Dispatch Operative to join the team. 

Duties of a Dispatch Operative:

• Sort and scan parcels accurately by courier and delivery service.
• Prepare shipments for daily courier collections and meet collection cut-off times.
• Safely load and unload courier vehicles, pallets and roll cages.
• Move parcels using pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment.
• Identify and report damaged, incorrectly labelled or misplaced parcels.
• Maintain a clean, safe dispatch area and support wider warehouse activities when required.

What we would like from you:

• Previous dispatch, courier or warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Experience with handheld scanners or pallet trucks
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when sorting and handling parcels.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working to deadlines.
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on, manual role.
• Able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
