- Carrying out pre- and post-inspections of responsive repairs across the housing stock
- Diagnosing building defects and preparing detailed specifications of work
- Managing contractor performance to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Handling occasional disrepair cases, carrying out inspections, and supporting the resolution process
- Ensuring all works comply with health and safety legislation, housing standards, and organisational policies
- Liaising with residents, contractors, and internal teams to provide excellent customer service
- Monitoring repair quality and identifying opportunities for service improvement
- Maintaining accurate records and producing reports where required
- Previous experience working within a social housing environment
- Experience managing responsive repairs and carrying out property inspections
- Exposure to occasional disrepair cases
- Strong knowledge of building construction, repairs, and maintenance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A relevant surveying or construction qualification is desirable
- A full UK driving licence
