West Yorkshire Police are seeking a number of motivated and analytically minded individuals to join our team as a District Intelligence Analyst.

This role is key to supporting tactical decision-making at district level, providing high-quality analytical insight to inform the deployment of resources and delivery of policing priorities.

You will work with a wide range of information and intelligence, applying analytical techniques to develop a clear picture of demand, threat, and risk, helping to keep communities safe.

As a District Intelligence Analyst, you will:

•    Contribute to district priorities by identifying emerging crime patterns and trends, supporting early intervention and proactive policing at both district and neighbourhood level.
•    Fuse data from multiple sources, enriching the intelligence picture to support the development of tactical and strategic analytical products.
•    Support neighbourhood policing teams by delivering analytical insight to help address local community concerns and priorities
•    Provide advice on appropriate analytical problem-solving approaches to support tactical decision-making and effective deployment of resources in line with district and force priorities.
•    Present analytical findings at district meetings, providing clear insight, recommendations, and professional guidance to the District Command Team and partner agencies.

We are looking for someone who:

•    Has experience in analysis or an analytical/ data-focused role, ideally within policing, intelligence, or a public sector environment.
•    Can interpret and analyse complex information to produce clear, actionable insight.
•    Is confident presenting findings to a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
•    Demonstrates strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
•    Has a keen interest in problem-solving and supporting operational policing outcomes.
•    Works collaboratively and can build effective working relationships with colleagues and partner organisations.
