Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a Document Controller on behalf of a national client in Middlesbrough.
The Package:
- Competitive salary up to £33,000 per annum
- Full-time and permanent
- Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
- generous company pension scheme
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- 34 days annual holidays including bank holidays
The Duties:
- Managing the controlled flow of drawings, models, and technical information through the project Common Data Environment (BIM 360 / ACC) in line with ISO 19650 / PAS1192 standards.
- Managing the flow of contract-led information and processes within the common data environment, including the handling of formal instructions, queries, variations, project registers, and general correspondence, while supporting procurement and site administration.
- Supporting the project team to ensure it maintains audit-ready QA and compliance records for a structured, ISO-aligned handover and digital project close-out.
- Providing general site administration support.
The Requirements:
- Possess excellent computer skills and a strong willingness to master new software and applications.
- Bring proven experience working in a similar document control or administrative capacity within the construction industry.
- Familiar with utilising Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and data sharing tools to manage information.
- Understand Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a core industry concept, with exposure to platforms like Navisworks.
- Display strong literacy, written communication, and verbal articulation skills.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, with a track record of meeting strict project deadlines.
- Work collaboratively as a flexible, dependable team player who supports the wider project group.
