SALARY:                   £27,976
HOURS:                    40 hours per week, 5-day rota
  
Are you passionate about supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse? We are looking for an experienced Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join our dedicated team.
  
You will manage a caseload of women with complex needs, providing trauma-informed, strengths-based support to help customers stay safe, build confidence and move towards independent living.
  
Key responsibilities:
  
  • Manage a caseload and provide one-to-one and group support.
  • Complete CAADA DASH risk assessments and robust safety plans.
  • Provide practical and emotional support around domestic abuse, housing, benefits, finances, wellbeing and employment.
  • Support customers to understand their rights and access appropriate legal protection.
  • Work closely with partner agencies and make referrals where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and support records.
  • Help customers achieve positive outcomes and develop independence.
  
About you:
  
  • Experience working with domestic abuse and/or people with complex needs.
  • Experience completing CAADA DASH risk assessments and safety planning.
  • Strong case management and partnership-working skills.
  • Knowledge of housing and benefits.
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • A compassionate, non-judgemental and trauma-informed approach.
