Job Title: Domestic Assistant

Trust: Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

Location: Alexandra Hospital, Woodrow Drive, Redditch, B98 7UB

Pay Rates: £12.92ph + Escalated rates after 8pm.

Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm and 5pm-8pm

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital-based services from three main sites – the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester. What you’ll be responsible for:

· As part of the infection control team the cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

· Operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

· Communicate effectively with departmental staff, colleagues, line managers and patients.

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

· Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently and in a team.

· Capable of working to deadlines and under pressure.

· Experience in a domestic or similar role is preferred, but not required.

· Knowledge of COSSH and health and safety protocols.
