Location: Belfast and surrounding areas

Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 DOE plus company van & fuel card

Hours: Monday-Friday

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We’re recruiting an experienced Electrical Testing, Inspection & Remedial Engineer to work across Social Housing and Local Authority contracts.

Our client is well established and has built a strong national reputation for electrical compliance, working with major housing associations, NHS Trusts and educational institutions.

With ongoing contracts, long-term stability and opportunities to develop, this is an ideal role for an electrician looking for their next career move.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out EICRs, testing, inspection and remedial works
  • Working across domestic and communal properties
  • Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Working to BS7671 and NICEIC standards
  • Working to agreed targets while maintaining quality
  • Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining site safety
  • Liaising professionally with customers and clients

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • Proven testing and remedial experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good knowledge of electrical regulations
  • Competent IT and electronic certification skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Social Housing or Local Authority experience preferred
