We are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join our highly regarded gas operations and maintenance team based in Brockley and Canning Town, London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading FM company where you will be working to complete boiler services (CP12's), fault finding and breakdown repairs in residential properties across our portfolio.

Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is responsible for providing gas/boiler repairs and boiler servicing in domestic properties on a social housing contract.
You will be diagnosing and providing repairs to boilers on a reactive call-out basis as well as routine servicing to gas fired boilers (central heating and hot water systems) to ensure they are working to the required quality standards. You will identify any faults and where possible, rectify these during the visit, issuing the completion certificate (CP12) where the systems meet the required safety and quality standards.
The role is based in London with the patch covering Brockley and Canning Town. You will be issued with a company van and fuel card as this is a mobile role.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. You will also participate in our on-call emergency rota, for which you will receive an on-call allowance and overtime rates paid per call out.

Experience Required
You should have strong experience gained as a domestic gas engineer. This experience would ideally have been gained within a maintenance contractor, though candidates working for an energy provider will also be considered. You should have Domestic ACS qualification; CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, CENWAT, HTR1
You’ll be comfortable with undertaking routine servicing as well as repair works across gas fired heating and hot water systems. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy providing excellent customer services. A keen eye for detail and quality of workmanship is also essential.
