Domestic Gas Engineer – Cambridge

Location: Cambridge & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

ARC is currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a small, established maintenance contractor based in Cambridge. This is a permanent position for an experienced Gas Engineer who is happy working across Cambridge and the surrounding areas and enjoys working for a smaller company where you can become a valued member of the team.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out domestic gas and heating maintenance across a range of properties throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

The role will include:

• Carrying out domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing faults and completing remedial works
• Working on domestic gas appliances
• Completing relevant paperwork and service records
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Travelling between jobs across Cambridge and surrounding areas
• Working safely and in accordance with current regulations

Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements

• Relevant Gas Safe qualifications
• Domestic gas qualifications and experience
• Appropriate appliance tickets for the work required
• Proven experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Happy to travel across Cambridge and surrounding areas
• Good customer-facing skills and a professional approach

Domestic Gas Engineer Package:

• £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
