Domestic Plumber

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Gas Safe Plumber to join a professional property maintenance team supporting a prestigious residential portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair hot and cold water systems, drainage networks, sanitary ware and central heating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
• Test, commission and maintain closed-loop heating circuits and associated plant.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair works.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works, materials used and remedial actions taken.
• Manage and maintain an appropriate inventory of plumbing materials and consumables.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements.
• Participate in an on-call and seasonal rota as required.
• Undertake additional duties reasonably requested by management within the scope of the role.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential

• NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Plumbing (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Gas Safe Registered.
• Unvented Hot Water Certification.
• Strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems.
• Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH requirements.
• Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a wider maintenance team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Own hand tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
