Service Service is recruiting for an experienced Domestic Solar PV Surveyor to join a growing organisation involved in renewable energy and low-carbon technologies.

This is a varied field-based role involving property surveys, technical assessments and feasibility studies for solar PV and associated electrical installations. You'll work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are technically suitable, compliant and ready for installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out domestic property surveys for solar PV and electrical installations
  • Assess roof structure, orientation, shading and existing electrical infrastructure
  • Review existing heating systems and internal layouts
  • Produce accurate survey reports and technical information for installation teams
  • Identify potential risks, site constraints and technical requirements
  • Work closely with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Support quality, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Maintain a strong focus on health & safety and customer service


About You:

  • Experience within surveying, construction, electrical engineering or renewable energy
  • Good technical understanding of solar PV systems
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and low-carbon technologies
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Able to assess technical information and provide practical solutions
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence


Qualifications:

You will ideally hold:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • ECS Health & Safety
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or 2394/2395)
  • Knowledge of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) would be advantageous
