Rates are dependant upon experience
Downstream Processing Scientist Role:
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale studies through hands-on experimentation.
- Deliver downstream purification processes to support clinical programs and business milestones.
- Utilise statistical tools to design, analyse, and interpret complex data sets.
- Provide technical and operational expertise in downstream processing.
- Support the maintenance and readiness of downstream laboratory equipment.
- Hold a relevant scientific degree, or have equivalent working experience.
- Some previous experience in biopharmaceutical downstream development or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with a range of techiques/sytems such as the following would be an advantage:
- FPLC Chromatography (AKTA systems with Unicorn Software)
- Familiarity with GxP Standards.
- Depth Filtration
- Process Scale Up
