Role: Drainage Tanker Operative – Days

Salary: £44,200 - £46,000

Location: Gravesend / Dartford & Surrounding Areas

Hours: 50 hours per week, day shifts.

Generally working between 5am – 5pm, although start and finish times may vary depending on the location of works.

Attega Group are looking for a Drainage Tanker Operative to join the Rapid Response team, supporting both reactive emergency callouts and planned remedial drainage works across Gravesend, Dartford and the surrounding areas.

As a Drainage Tanker Operative, you will attend a variety of commercial and industrial sites carrying out emergency drainage works, vacuum tanker extraction and high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages.

You will also support specialist drainage teams with surveys, investigations, rehabilitation works and pump station maintenance, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.

We value your experience and offer a competitive salary of up to £46,000 per annum, with the opportunity to earn an additional £10,000 through overtime and additional work.

Role Duties:

• Carrying out emergency tanker drainage callouts on a reactive basis. Carrying out vacuum tanker extraction works and HPWJ to clear blockages.
• As the business dictates, carrying out descale works for below ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
• Emptying of external grease traps.
• Extensive tanker extraction works to Foul and Surface water systems/ Pump stations/ Petrol Interceptors
• Working alongside CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works which will involve fault finding and providing practical solutions to support the client’s needs.
• Support specialist teams with lining, patching and rehabilitation works.
• Generally supporting drainage teams with clearance and blockage works should emergencies arise.
• Supporting pumps teams with Foul/Surface water pump station works.
• Ensure correct tipping and waste disposal procedures are followed and adhered to.

The ideal Candidate:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid HGV Class 2
• CPC
• Previous drainage experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
