Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established secondary school in Lincoln to recruit an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team from the start of the new academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a thriving Performing Arts department, where you will deliver inspiring Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will encourage students to develop their creativity, confidence, collaboration, and performance skills while fostering a genuine appreciation for the performing arts.

The school is recognised for its welcoming and supportive ethos, strong leadership, excellent facilities, and commitment to both student success and ongoing professional development for staff.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting.
  • Be passionate about delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire students.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning for students of all abilities.
  • Have experience, or a keen interest, in leading school productions, performances, and extracurricular Drama activities.
  • Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Show a strong commitment to raising student achievement and supporting individual progress.
