Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Driver Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, providing an essential service by delivering and installing medical equipment for customers across homes, hospitals and schools.

Successful candidates will receive two weeks of in-house training before working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering medical equipment to homes, hospitals and schools.
• Collecting medical equipment when required.
• Installing and assembling equipment, including beds and other small medical aids.
• Demonstrating the safe use of equipment where necessary.
• Completing delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service at every visit.
• Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• A valid DBS certificate is essential.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving medical equipment.
• Confident working independently after completing training.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused.

Additional Information:

• Pay: £12.77 per hour.
• Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm.
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent.
• Once you secure a permanent position, your working pattern will change to Tuesday to Saturday.
