Driver Warehouse Operative

HRGO are recruiting Driver/Warehouse Operatives for our client in Exeter. This is a great opportunity to work for a large distribution company, the opportunity will be temporary to permanent - immediate starts are available! This is a hands-on role combining delivery driving with warehouse duties, ideal for someone comfortable on the road and in a warehouse environment.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, with every other Saturday 8am-12pm

Location: Marsh Barton, Exeter

Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and collect goods on scheduled routes
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring correct quantities and secure handling of items
• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
• Operate warehouse equipment as required (trolley, pallet truck)
• Perform vehicle and equipment checks and complete delivery paperwork / electronic logs
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment and follow health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points
• Previous experience in driving and/or warehouse work
• Good communication skills, punctuality and a positive, team-minded attitude
• Flexibility to work every other Saturday
