🕒 Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 3 days off
⏰ Hours: 07:00 - 19:00
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to work alongside a van driver delivering and installing white goods to customers' homes and commercial premises throughout the local area.
This is a physically demanding role and would suit someone who enjoys being active, provides excellent customer service, and is confident working in customers' homes.
Duties Include:
- Assisting the driver with the delivery of white goods to residential and commercial properties
- Carrying and manoeuvring heavy appliances, some weighing over 25kg
- Installing and setting up appliances in customers' homes
- Delivering outstanding face-to-face customer service
- Ensuring products are delivered safely and on time
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times
Requirements:
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience is essential
- Comfortable working in customers' homes and interacting with the public
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Able to work the 5-on, 3-off shift pattern
- Willing to undergo a DBS check before starting work
