I’m supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Wrexham as they expand their Drug Safety & Information function with a Drug Safety Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you’ll own end‑to‑end signal management and play a key part in ensuring patient safety across a diverse product portfolio.

The Role

As Drug Safety Executive, you’ll be a central member of the safety team, responsible for:

• Leading and conducting all aspects of signal management — from detection through to assessment

• Chairing product safety signalling meetings

• Driving process improvements and consistency across safety operations

• Applying scientific and clinical judgement to evaluate complex and sometimes conflicting safety data

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences

• Strong experience in pharmacovigilance, specifically signal management

• In‑depth knowledge of current PV legislation and its practical application

• Broad medical terminology and disease pathology understanding

• Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and organisational ability

• Confidence using a pharmacovigilance safety database
