Contract Type: Full time/Temp to perm
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £130–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK secondary school

Overview:
Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated DT/Art Teacher for a full-time position starting asap! This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled DT/Art educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 DT/Art curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and assess DT/Art lessons in line with department policy
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
• Contribute to department improvement planning DT/Art
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching DT or Art experience in a UK secondary setting
• Is passionate about education and student achievement
• Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
