• Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is an advantage but not essential).

• Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire creativity and problem-solving.

• Assessing and monitoring student progress.

• Creating a safe and positive learning environment within the workshop and classroom.

• Working collaboratively with the wider DT department and school staff.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Ability to teach Design & Technology at secondary level.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
