Hathershaw College, part of the Pinnacle Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students through a broad and engaging Design & Technology curriculum, developing both their practical skills and creativity.

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality DT lessons across the secondary age range.

• Inspire students to develop their creativity, problem-solving and practical skills.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually develop teaching and learning.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.

• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for DT.

• Can engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

• Has high expectations of behaviour, achievement and personal development.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

• Works effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
