Working pattern: Monday to Friday working pattern with shared on-call responsibilities across the senior management team
Will be covering two, two bed EBD homes
- Competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum upon successful Ofsted registration
- Annual bonus of up to £3,000 per home, subject to performance criteria

Successful Applicant
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting
- Must have successfully completed Ofsted registration previously and be capable of passing a Fit Person Interview
- Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or Level 5 Diploma in Children, Young People and Families Management
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management position within residential childcare
- Strong leadership, staff development, and performance management experience
- Previous experience working with children and young people within residential childcare settings is essential
- Experience supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) would be highly advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Confident leading multiple teams and driving service improvement across more than one home
Role & Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of two neighbouring 2-bed therapeutic children's homes
- Ensure both homes operate in line with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to the Deputy Managers within each service, helping them grow in their roles
- Drive outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people
- Monitor quality assurance processes, care planning, staffing, and service performance across both homes
- Lead recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and professional development of residential staff teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, external professionals, and other key stakeholders
- Support both homes in achieving and maintaining strong Ofsted outcomes and continuous improvement
- Participate in the senior management on-call rota, providing emergency out-of-hours support approximately one week in every five
- Work Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with flexibility to work additional hours where required to meet the needs of the services
