Dual Fuel Smart Meter Auditor  London and surrounding locations Salary: £45,000 per annum Company Van Provided Full-Time, Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dual Fuel Smart Meter Auditor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified metering professional who is passionate about maintaining high installation standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational excellence across our smart metering workforce.As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Auditor, you will be responsible for carrying out technical audits on smart meter installations, assessing engineer performance, identifying training requirements, and ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field-based audits of Dual Fuel Smart Meter installations.
  • Assess installation quality, workmanship, and customer service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with MOCOPA, SMICoP, Health & Safety, and company procedures.
  • Complete comprehensive audit reports and provide constructive feedback to engineers.
  • Identify skills gaps and support coaching and development initiatives.
  • Investigate and report on technical issues, non-conformances, and safety concerns.
  • Work closely with operational and training teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all audit documentation is completed correctly.
  • There will be an element of travel to this role should this business require.
Requirements
  • Previous Smart Meter Auditor experience.
  • Relevant metering qualifications (CCN1, MET1 and associated ACS qualifications).
  • Strong understanding of MOCOPA and SMICoP requirements.
  • Experience carrying out quality inspections, audits, or coaching activities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Experience delivering engineer mentoring or training.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
