Dual Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (3-Bed EBD)

Salary: Upto £70,000 per annum (DOE) + Performance Bonus

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Dual Registered Manager to lead their 3-bed children's home. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference while leading a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, management, and development of the home. You will ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards, whilst promoting outstanding outcomes for the children in our care.

You will inspire and develop your team, champion a child-centred and therapeutic approach, and create a culture where both children and staff can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager and maintain full regulatory compliance.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring exceptional standards of care.
• Promote positive outcomes for children in relation to education, health, emotional wellbeing, independence, and life skills.
• Build and maintain a warm, safe, and nurturing home environment.
• Recruit, lead, supervise, and develop a motivated and high-performing staff team.
• Ensure safeguarding is embedded in all aspects of practice.
• Complete Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 actions and drive continuous service improvement.

What We're Looking ForEssential

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential home.
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015
• Quality Standards
• Safeguarding legislation
• Experience supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.

Desirable

• Experience opening or developing a new children's home.
