Duct Fitter

We are currently looking for an experienced Duct Fitter to work on commercial projects. The successful candidate will be confident installing galvanised ductwork and able to work accurately from drawings.

Key responsibilities:

• Installing galvanised ductwork and ventilation systems
• Measuring, cutting, assembling and fitting ductwork
• Installing rectangular and spiral ducting
• Fitting brackets, supports, grilles, diffusers and associated components
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Completing installations to a high standard
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Working effectively independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Previous commercial duct-fitting experience
• Strong experience with galvanised ductwork
• Valid CSCS or relevant skills card
• Own tools and appropriate PPE
• Good understanding of ventilation systems
• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Right to work in the UK
