Duct Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Duct Fitter to work on a busy commercial project.

The successful candidate must be confident installing ductwork independently, reading drawings and completing work safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Install galvanised ductwork and associated fittings.
• Fit rectangular, circular and spiral ductwork.
• Install ventilation systems in line with drawings and specifications.
• Measure, position and secure ductwork correctly.
• Fit brackets, supports, grilles, diffusers and dampers.
• Work closely with mates, supervisors and other trades.
• Identify and report installation issues.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Keep working areas clean, tidy and safe.

Requirements

• Previous commercial duct-fitting experience.
• Confident working with galvanised ductwork.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Valid CSCS or relevant trade card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Good knowledge of health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Right to work in the UK.
