We are recruiting three experienced Duty & Assessment Social Workers to join supportive and established Children's Social Care Teams across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover.
Whether based in the Clay Cross Team or Bolsover Team, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding children and supporting families at the point of referral and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Child and Family Assessments
- Manage referrals and threshold decisions
- Complete Section 17 and Section 47 investigations
- Carry out risk and needs assessments
- Attend strategy discussions and child protection conferences
- Build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies
- Maintain accurate and timely case recordings
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker
- Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within Children's Duty & Assessment services
- Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
