Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a EA3 Stores Coordinator / Storeman on a 3 month contract based Norfolk.
Role Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced EA3 Stores Coordinator / Storeman to join a major substation project in Norfolk on a 3-month contract.
This is a key site-based role responsible for coordinating the day-to-day management of materials, plant, tools, and deliveries, ensuring efficient stores operations while supporting the construction team on a live electrical infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site stores, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Receive, inspect, record, and issue deliveries.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
- Coordinate material requests with site teams and suppliers.
- Ensure stores are organised, secure, and compliant with site procedures.
- Monitor PPE, consumables, and plant allocations.
- Liaise with the Site Manager and project team to ensure materials are available when required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the stores area.
Requirements:
- EA3 authorisation (or eligibility to work on National Grid substations).
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Previous experience working as a Storeman or Stores Coordinator on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working on electrical substations or high-voltage projects.
- Strong organisational and stock control skills.
- Good communication and IT skills for maintaining stock records.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable
- Telehandler/Forklift licence.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- National Grid or utility project experience.
