Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement 

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 8am to 4pm

Unique School Solutions are supporting a large secondary school in the S8 area of Sheffield to appoint a Teaching Assistant who can work across school, supporting students with English as an Additional Language. The role will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher, supporting KS3 and KS4 students. The role is to start ASAP in September 2026 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience working within a school or similar setting, with young people aged 11-16
  • The ability to build rapport with young learners
  • The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
