Early Career Teacher – Greenwich
Location: Greenwich, London, SE10
Salary: £40,317 per annum, Inner London M1, plus the applicable September 2026 pay award
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Start date: 1 September 2026
Transparency Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Greenwich. The role is suitable for an ECT who will have achieved Qualified Teacher Status by September 2026 and is ready to establish a successful career in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the relevant curriculum.
• Create an inclusive classroom in which pupils feel safe, motivated and challenged.
• Assess pupil progress and use this information to inform future teaching.
• Establish positive behaviour and effective classroom routines.
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents or carers.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status by the start date.
• Strong teaching-practice experience within a primary setting.
• Secure curriculum knowledge and high expectations for pupil achievement.
• Reflective, organised and committed to professional development.
• Eligibility to begin or continue statutory ECT induction.
