• Salary: £174.71 - £270.95 per day

• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and independence.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and dedicated SEN Support Assistants.
• Monitor student progress, manage individual learning targets, and track development effectively to meet your ECT induction standards.
• Utilise positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support student well-being.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be on track to graduate as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Passion: A genuine commitment to special education and inclusion, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Resilience: Strong emotional resilience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward professional growth.
• Compliance: Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to process one through Tradewind).
