Are you an Early Career Teacher ready to begin your teaching career in a supportive London primary school?
Transparency Education is recruiting an enthusiastic ECT for a full-time primary teaching opportunity in Croydon from September.
This role would suit a newly qualified teacher who wants to develop their classroom practice, build strong relationships with pupils and become an active member of a school community.
Your responsibilities
You will:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Create an inclusive classroom in which pupils feel confident and motivated to learn.
• Assess progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Establish clear routines and positive behaviour expectations.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
• Participate in planning, training and wider school activities.
We are looking for
Applicants should:
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status, or be on track to achieve QTS.
• Be eligible to undertake an ECT induction.
• Have recent UK school-based teaching or placement experience.
• Demonstrate good curriculum knowledge.
• Have high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Be reflective, organised and keen to develop professionally.
• ECTs with strong placement experience are warmly encouraged to apply.
