Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and support engaging activities that encourage learning and development.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with the EYFS.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Encourage learning through play, exploration and everyday experiences.
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive early years team.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
- Must have a car and be able to drive.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
