  • Observe children's learning and contribute to assessments and learning journeys where required.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming learning environment.
  • Support children's personal care needs where appropriate.
  • Lead and support the Nursery After School Club from the end of the school day until 6:15pm.
  • Plan and provide fun, age-appropriate activities during after-school sessions, including creative play, outdoor learning and quiet activities.
  • Ensure children's safety and wellbeing throughout the day, following safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers during collection times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide continuity of care between the Nursery and after-school provision.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.
  • Is warm, caring, patient and enthusiastic.
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can create positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Is organised, reliable and able to use their initiative.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
What We Offer
  • A welcoming and supportive primary school community.
  • A friendly and experienced Early Years team.
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development and training.
  • A varied role working across both Nursery and the After School Club.
  • A positive and inclusive working environment.
